Do note that Kolkata may be one of the most populated cities globally, but it never forgets its roots! It began as a quaint fisherman’s village before morphing into what it is today. Mother Teresa worked tirelessly for the poor in this city.
Enjoy a delicious breakfast before transferring to the airport for your flight to Bagdogra. Another tour representative will greet you upon arrival and drive you to Darjeeling, where an array of tea gardens in the green slopes await. Admire the soaring Kanchenjunga Cluster—a part of the Himalayas—demanding attention in the background. Check into your hotel when you arrive and relax!
Before golden light replaces the night sky, go to Tiger Hill to watch the sun rise above the third highest peak in the world, Kanchenjunga.
