    The Loughgall Country Park Walk is a pleasant route in County Armagh, Northern Ireland that will expose you to some beautifully scenic woodland terrain and views of a lake. While out walking the trail, you will enter into the thick cover of the forest and follow the meandering path as it loops around the shores of Lough Gall. The lovely setting and easy to navigate terrain makes this an excellent walk for families with children.

    Route Description for Loughgall Country Park Walk

    Featuring a wonderfully atmospheric woodland setting and some nice views across a calm lake, the Loughgall Country Park Walk is a great option if you are looking for a bit of peace and quiet outdoors.

    Setting out from the car park, you will make your way to the southeast in order to enter the cover of the forest, keeping left to make your way around the eastern shores of Lough Gall. Take your time as you stroll amongst the trees and soak up the lovely views across the water.

    Eventually, the trail will bend around the southern tip of the lake and lead you towards the north, skirting along the edge of a golf course. After making your way through the final stretch of the forest, you will meet back up with your initial path, which you can follow to the left in order to return to the car park.

    The trailhead for the Loughgall Country Park Walk can be found at the car park next to the Loughgall Golf Course, just off Main Street/B77.
