Happiness Promise
There are hundreds of thousands of guides and tour operators around the world. Figuring out who to trust is stressful and hard.
That’s why we started 10Adventures Tours, we’re here to make it easy to find a great guide or tour operator. We handpick the best local guides and tour operators for 10Adventures, working to ensure you have great guides and a great trip.
We know it sucks to show up in a different country and find out the tents are junk, the guide incompetent or the route different from what we thought we were getting.
We want to give our users peace of mind that you’ll have a great trip and offer a guarantee that we will work with you to make it right.
How does this work?
Well, if you feel that something about your trip didn’t’ meet your expectations, let us know. We will then work to gather the details and figure out where things went wrong. If something indeed wasn’t as described, or went wrong with your trip, and the problem was within the control of either oursleves, the guide or the tour company, we will then work out a refund with you that’s proportional to the scale of the problem.
Obviously the best way to make a great trip is to tell your local guide or tour operator and give them the chance to fix the solution while you are on your trip. Most things can be solved by telling your guide when the issue develops. If that doesn’t solve it, then email us right away. Please don’t wait to voice your concerns until the trip is over, as it’s much harder to solve issues after the fact.
We work hard to make sure you have a great trip. If something isn’t right, please email hello@10adventures.co and we will get to work right away.

Explore Southern Africa, including Botswana, Zimbabwe, and Namibia
Take the first step towards a private travel experience, customized just for you.
About this tour:
Southern Africa has it all: animals, otherworldly scenery, friendly locals, and must-visit locales. Soak up the best of Southern Africa on the 19-Day Botswana, Zimbabwe, and Namibia Tour.
From open-vehicle game drives to elephant-studded resorts, the 19-Day Botswana, Zimbabwe, and Namibia Tour is a dream for animal enthusiasts. Between glimpses of hippos and leopards, explore towns and villages rich with history and charm.
At each stop on this Botswana, Zimbabwe, and Namibia Tour, you’ve got the freedom to choose your own adventures. Sandboard down the red dunes of Namibia, or paraglide through the skies. Let the mist of Victoria Falls cool your face, or sample local cuisine at family-run restaurants. Stroll through quaint villages like Windhoek, where trinkets and souvenirs glitter from every window. Spot dolphins off the coast and learn local traditions from Bushmen- the 19-Day Botswana, Zimbabwe, and Namibia Tour offers it all.
Welcome to Namibia! You’ll be met at the airport in Windhoek and then driven to Gobabis, in the Kalahari North area. The expansive Kalahari desert covers seven countries, and this portion of it is covered in acacia trees, rivers, and diverse flora and fauna. You’ll enjoy a welcome dinner and then have the evening to yourself to relax.
The first day of your Southern African tour starts with a walk with the local Bushmen. You’ll learn about their culture and traditions before departing Namibia. A stop in Ghanzi gives you the chance to have lunch before departing for Botswana. You’ll spend the night in Maun, a scenic city on the Thamalakane River.
After breakfast, you’ll be whisked away on a small charter plane to the Moremi Game Reserve, one of the most beautiful game reserves on the continent. Spend the day enjoying the lush delta and the animals within, either on foot or on a small mokoro boat. You can tailor your game viewing experience to find the animals of your choice, and optionally end the day with a boat cruise or wilderness camping. Today is all about African nature and enjoying it exactly as you please!
Day 4 of your tour of Southern Africa allows you to fully enjoy Moremi Crossing. Between game walks, bush walks, picnics, boat cruises, and camping, you can pick and choose how you enjoy this unforgettable location.
After breakfast, you’ll depart Moremi Crossing and hop a quick flight to Maun. Then, you’ll be driven to Nata. This village is along the “game drive route”, so keep your eyes out the window on the way. Nata is the ideal base from which to enjoy the Makgadikgadi Pans. You’ll spend the night at an elephant lodge, which is a local treat!
Today, you’re free to enjoy everything that Elephant Sands and Nata offers. Spend the day watching local elephants, take a dip in the pool, catch some sun, or head out for a boat tour along the river. No matter what you choose to do, it’s sure to be a fantastic day.
Today you’ll be treated to one of the natural wonders of the world! You’ll briefly cross into Zambia to enjoy the impressive Victoria Falls. See the falls in style with a guided tour, ensuring you don’t miss an inch of this unfathomable sight.
Didn’t quite get enough of Victoria Falls yesterday? Today you’re free to enjoy the falls and the surrounding town as you please. There are some optional activities available, like sunset cruises, luxury yacht cruises, a tour of the township, village tours, and even helicopter flights over Victoria Falls. Choose your ideal adventure and enjoy!
Day 9 of your tour of Southern Africa takes you to Botswana. Say goodbye to the falls before a drive to Kasane, a pretty town right next to Chobe National Park. The fun part? There are no boundaries between towns and the park, so the local elephants and hippos are often seen roaming around town. In the afternoon, you can choose between an open-air game drive in the park or an afternoon boat cruise.
Today, you’ve got more time to enjoy lovely Kasane. Whether it’s game drives, boat cruises, or lounging by the pool of your hotel, the day is yours. Have fun and keep an eye out for the local elephants!
The next leg of your South African tour takes you to Divundu, a small village on the banks of the Okavango River. It provides easy access to nearby fishing areas, game parks, nature reserves, and more. The evening today can be spent on a sundowner cruise, birdwatching (there are 330 local species!), or tracking down some of the wildlife in the area.
After a great day in Divundu, it’s time to depart for Tsumeb. This is the closest city to the incredible Etosha National Park, the “gateway to the north” of Namibia. This town is packed with history, so consider making a stop in at the Arts & Crafts Centre, the Cultural Village, the Old Mine, or the Tsumeb Museum. Then, you can spend the evening on a boat cruise to Popa Falls, a stunning area of waterfalls nearby.
The day starts with a trip to Etosha National Park, where you’ll be treated to a game drive to spot giraffe, elephant, rhino, and more. Once you’ve seen the local game, it’s off to the beautiful safari lodge where you’ll spend the night.
Didn’t quite tick all the animals off your list yesterday? Spend the morning on an open-vehicle game drive in Etosha before you have to depart for Otjiwarongo in the afternoon. This little town is a peaceful spot with a fabulous craft market. Stop by the Crocodile Ranch to get nice and close to- you guessed it- crocodiles.
This morning, say goodbye to Otjiwarongo as you depart for Swakopmund. This seaside town is your introduction to the beautiful coast of Namibia. The colonial architecture, quirky shops, heavy German influence, and surrounding desert make it an unforgettable locale. Biking, horseback riding, paragliding, sightseeing tours, and more are available here.
Day 16 in Southern Africa is another opportunity to pick and choose exactly what you want to do. There are tons of activities to choose from, but some of the options include dolphin cruises, desert tours, sandboarding on the dunes, quad biking, and coastline cruises. Tough choices!
Today you’ll be travelling across Namibia to the Sossusvlei area, a place very well-known for its dramatic red sand dunes. Photographers and tourists come from all over the world to see this premier attraction.
It’s an early morning to start the last day of your South African tour. You’ll begin the day with an exploratory tour of Sossusvlei in a 4X4, and if you choose, you’re welcome to summit the Deadvlei dune for one of the best views in the area. Then, it’s back to Windhoek for the night.
Your expansive tour of Botswana, Zimbabwe, and Namibia is over all too soon. After a morning of souvenir shopping, it’s off to the airport to start your travels home. Farewell!
