Route Description for Apikuni Falls Trail
The Apikuni Falls Trail is a great hike that takes you to a beautiful two tier waterfall that you can hear roaring halfway through your hike. At the beginning, you will walk through Atlyn Peak and Apikuni Mountain until you reach 0.3 km, where you will see a grove. At this time, you will ascend almost 152 m and you will notice small trails off to the side that lead to stunning views of the surrounding area.
Continuing on, you will come to level ground and begin to hear the waterfall in the distance. Keep walking and you will come face to face with water falling 30 m down the side of a cliff. You can reach the base of the falls and feel the power from above with a careful climb up some rocks. After you marvel at the falls, return the way you came.
