Betasso Preserve
Betasso Preserve is a great all-around MTB trail with enough challenges to keep it interesting and test your riding skills. The trail is located conveniently close to downtown Boulder, it is a must do, and one of the best all-around MTB trails we know!

West Magnolia is a spaghetti network of trails that will test your riding abilities along with your navigation skills, but the riding is totally worth the ‘fear of being lost in the woods’ …it’s an adventure!

Heil Valley Ranch is a popular MTB trail just north of Boulder that boasts semi-technical rocky trails in a picturesque setting. The halfway point of Heil Valley Ranch is one of our favourite overlooks, definitely take a moment to stop, catch your breath, and take in the view!

South Sourdough Trail
South Sourdough Trail is a ride at altitude! Starting at 2,804 m with a climb right out of the gates this is one to be acclimated for, but don’t let that put you off. This is one of our favourite treed mountain rides, travelling through the Roosevelt National Forest - it’s a beautiful, peaceful challenge.

Marshall Mesa – Doudy Draw Loops
The Doudy Draw Loops ride along the base of the iconic Boulder Flatirons making it impossible not to stop and take a picture! This fun ride incorporates a bit of everything the area has to offer any Mountain Biker - a bit of a climb, stunning views, a bit of a cruise, and some fun and fast downhills - a must do when in the area!

Dirty Bismark is a cross-country rider’s paradise! It is a big loop just east of the Doudy Draw Loops and is a mostly smooth ride through the foot hills with great views of the iconic Boulder Flatirons.

Walker Ranch Loop is breathtaking… in both sense of the word! The trail runs through some amazing terrain with breathtaking views around every corner. But, there are also breathtaking hill climbs that leave you, well, breathless!

North Boulder Valley
North Boulder Valley is a fun cross-country trail perfect for ripping around on your gravel grinder or cross bike. We love it because it is pretty much accessible year-round, with few trees and lots of sun exposure it dries out fast and its quick to get to if you don’t have a lot of time!
