Starting from the charming village of Henley, the Henley, the Greys and the Rotherfields Walk offers a variety of scenery, helping to deter your thoughts from focusing on your tired legs and, instead, revelling in the lovely views around you. Expect to pass by quaint villages, pubs and to spend most of your time immersed in woodland. You will encounter some steep climbs, so mentally prepare for some short heart-pumping excursions!
Route Description for Henley, the Greys and the Rotherfields Walk
The Henley, the Greys and the Rotherfields Walk in the Chilterns sets out from The Angel on the Bridge and heads west until you turn right onto Hop Gardens. This marks the start of your loop! Continue circling around through stretches of woodland, open fields, and two golf courses. Look out for livestock in the fields! The 13.4mi distance paired with some steep climbs and muddy sections during wetter months makes this walk a tough one to complete, but it’s definitely all the more rewarding when you do finish it!Getting to the Henley, the Greys and the Rotherfields Walk Trailhead
