    The Bailey Canyon Trail to Jones Peak is a winding, uphill hike that will take you to the summit of a mountain for beautiful views. While out on the trail, you will traverse a seemingly endless amount of switchbacks into the mountains, before arriving at the top of Jones Peak. Make sure that your adventure pass is visible in your car prior to starting your hike.

    Route Description for Bailey Canyon Trail to Jones Peak

    Whether you are in it for the views or to boost up your step count for the day, the Bailey Canyon Trail to Jones Peak is an incredible hike that will be sure to get your heart rate up.

    Setting out from the trailhead, you will make your way north around the edge of the Bailey Canyon Debris Reservoir, before entering into the canyon landscape. You will soon reach a fork in the path and head right to climb uphill into the rugged terrain of the mountains above Sierra Madre.

    Although switchbacks leading up to the summit of Jones Peak will seem never-ending, you will eventually arrive at the top of the mountain for some stunning views. After a brief pause to catch your breath and give your legs a rest, simply head back down along the winding trail to return to your starting point.
