Mount Baldy and San Antonio Falls Hike
The Mount Baldy and San Antonio Falls Hike is a tough, but wonderfully scenic, excursion in Southern California that will take you up into the mountains. While out on the trail, you will pass by the cascading waters of the San Antonio Falls, before climbing further uphill to traverse the summits of Mount Harwood and Mount San Antonio. This is a fantastic route if you are fit enough to handle the large amount of elevation gain.

Route Description for Mount Baldy and San Antonio Falls Hike
With some spectacular scenery and a fairly hefty amount of elevation gain (1,193 m), the Mount Baldy and San Antonio Falls Hike is a great trail if you are hoping to be rewarded for your efforts. Make sure to display your adventure pass in your car prior to your hike.
Setting out from the trailhead, you will follow Falls Road to the northwest, where you will stop at the viewpoint for the San Antonio Falls. From here, the trail will briefly turn to the southeast, before climbing up the steep mountainside to the northwest on the way to the summit of Mount San Antonio.
After taking in the amazing views of the Southern California landscape, you will make your way southeast and descend slightly past the summit of Mount Harwood. From here, you will continue downhill on the way back into the trailhead where you began your day on the trails.
