Spend 10 days by the sea cycling Poland’s Baltic coast
Located in the north of the country, Poland’s Baltic coast is a beautifully serene place. Here you will find the island of Wolin, the eastern part of the island of Uznam, the Hela peninsula, numerous coastal lakes, cliffs and world-famous sand dunes, which can be found in the Slowinzer National Park near Leba. In total, the Polish Baltic Sea coast has more than 500 km of sandy beaches and is suitable for both water sports and sunbathing. Grab a bicycle and let yourself be enchanted by the beauty of the Polish Baltic Sea coast!
Your cycling adventure will begin with your individual arrival to a guest house in Świnoujście, where your Nature Travel guide will meet you at 5 p.m. The town is located on two islands that are divided by the river Świna. Landmarks include the historical City Hall (at present the museum of fishery) and the lighthouse (the highest at the Baltic coast). After dinner in a restaurant, you can take a walk on the beach promenade, before settling into your accommodation in a guest house in Świnoujście.
After breakfast you will begin the first leg of your bike trip, riding along the coast while passing through Miedzyzdroje resort and the terrain of Woliński National Park. Accommodation and dinner in a guest house in/near Dziwnów.
Today you will cycle to Kołobrzeg, one of the biggest sea resorts on the Polish coast. This stage of the tour heads through a beautiful landscape along nice beaches, offering the chance to have a swim in the sea. Enjoy dinner in a local restaurant, before wrapping up the day at your accommodation in a hotel in Kołobrzeg.
Today’s route features plenty of beautiful scenery and takes you through many tourist areas along the coast. Notable sightseeing attractions in Darłowo include the castle of the Prince of Pomorze, St. Mary’s Church and the baroque City Hall. Accommodation and dinner in a hotel in Darłowo.
On day 5 of the tour you will cycle along the Baltic coast in the direction of Ustka. Here, you will pass attractive landscapes and beautiful beaches. In the evening, you can enjoy the sunset in one of the cafés along the promenade. Accommodation and dinner in a hotel in Ustka.
Today’s route leads through the scenic Słowiński National Park, one of the most beautiful nature reserves in Poland. The tour ends in Kluki, where you will tour the open-air museum, after which, you will transfer by bus to your accommodation at in a hotel in Łeba.
After breakfast, you will once again visit Słowiński National Park, travelling by bike to reach the world-famous wandering dunes. Here, you will climb onto the highest dune (40 m high) for a sort of desert-on-the-sea experience with a fantastic view of the Łebsko lake and the Baltic. This is also a perfect place to have a swim. Accommodation and dinner are the same as the previous day.
Today you will enjoy a nice cycling trip to Krokowa, followed by an afternoon tour of the castle there. The castle, once the seat of the German family von Krockow, is regarded as a jewel of architecture. This will be followed by dinner in a restaurant, before settling into your accommodation in Krokowa for the night.
On today’s programme you have a beautiful cycling tour along the Hela Peninsula. Pine woods, magnificent beaches, picturesque dunes and fishermen’s houses all make for an amazing experience. Right after breakfast, you will have a professionally guided tour of the Old Town in Gdańsk (ca. 3 hours). The tour will end around 12 – 1 p.m. and will be followed by an individual departure to wrap up your adventure.

I’ve been using 10Adventures route guides for a while, but had never booked a tour. My wife and I booked a self-guided hike in Greece and were so impressed with how we were able navigate the route without a guide with the detailed and easy to follow itinerary. We enjoy travelling independently, and 10Adventures made that happen.

I was going through a tough time and really needed a getaway so I decided to book a tour through 10Adventures. My trip to Peru changed my life in so many positive and eye-opening ways. I am so thankful for the kind, empathetic team at 10Adventures.

I’ve adventured around a lot of Canada and the US, but I’ve always wanted to explore other parts of the world. I felt a bit scared before booking my trip to Israel, but my conversations with the team at 10Adventures helped ease any worry. I can’t wait to explore more of the world!

Travel companies have had to go through a lot during the pandemic but 10Adventures were super flexible and accommodating nonetheless. I had to cancel my tour in France due to the pandemic. 10Adventures was great and let me reschedule for a later date!

My wife Sarah and I had a great experience booking our 7-day cycling trip through Portugal via 10Adventures. The communication between us and Nadine leading up the trip was top-notch!

Communicating with 10Adventures feels like talking with a family-run business. I love to explore and travel, and exploring with the comfort of knowing I can talk to the team at 10Adventures with almost immediate feedback helps to ease any stress that comes with adventuring!

Whenever I’m looking for my next adventure 10Adventures never fails. Their routes all over England are my main go to for exploring and I have only had great experiences booking both guided and self-guided trips in Europe and South America with them. I am looking into Africa next.

I just got back from backpacking in the Sierra Nevada, and WOW. What an unreal journey! The alpine meadows, waterfalls, and the lakeside camping spot were memorable highlights! I wonder what other tours 10Adventures has to offer. That one went so well that I am now convinced I need to book another!

I'm not a big fan of traveling because of my fear of flying, but my girlfriend convinced me to go on the Aurora Borealis Tour in the Yukon. I will never forget the mesmerizing northern lights. Such a romantic (and cold) getaway. I would highly recommend it.

Wow! I am so happy with the experience I had with booking through 10Adventures for my tour in Italy! I worked with Nadine and she was super easy-going and helpful when it came to tweaking the itinerary provided on the website. 10/10 would book through 10Adventures again.
